Giants’ Daniel Jones throws two interceptions as Texans win 28-10 in preseason game
The Giants had most of their starters in action this week against the Texans, but ultimately lost 28-10. Starting quarterback Daniel Jones, playing his first game since an ACL tear last season, had a shaky start with two interceptions, including a pick-six. Jones settled down later in the game and finished with 138 yards passing. There were struggles with the offense, particularly with receivers Jalin Hyatt and Malik Nabers. The defense showed promise, generating pressure and collapsing the pocket regularly. Despite some impressive individual plays, the Giants backups struggled in the second half. The team will face the Jets in their final preseason game next.
