Reports: Saints Set to Bring on 49ers’ Kubiak as Offensive Coordinator
The New Orleans Saints are planning to hire Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator, according to sources. Kubiak is currently a passing game specialist with the San Francisco 49ers, and the deal cannot be finalized until after Super Bowl LVIII. The Saints have been looking for a new offensive coordinator since parting ways with Pete Carmichael, and Kubiak is one of several coaches they considered for the role. Kubiak, the son of former NFL coach Gary Kubiak, has experience with the Broncos and the Vikings, and most recently helped the 49ers achieve success with their passing offense. The Saints are also still looking to fill the positions of wide receivers coach and running backs coach.
