Seahawks Bring Frazier on Board as Assistant Head Coach
The Seattle Seahawks are planning to hire former Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier as their assistant head coach. Frazier, who has over two decades of NFL coaching experience, will reunite with new head coach Mike Macdonald, with whom he coached with on the Baltimore Ravens in 2016. Macdonald, at 36, is the NFL’s youngest head coach, and he plans to initially call defensive plays before eventually handing over those duties to a coordinator. Former Ravens linebackers coach Zachary Orr was a candidate for the coordinator role, but he was promoted in Baltimore. Frazier previously served as the head coach for the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013.
