Bucky Irving Dominates as Buccaneers Shock Cowboys for Season’s First Victory
Bucky Irving rushed for a career-high 165 yards and scored two touchdowns, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 24-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys for their first win of the season. Jalon Daniels, filling in for the injured Baker Mayfield, threw a touchdown pass and directed a turnover-free offense. Irving’s impressive 72-yard run set up a crucial touchdown. Despite Dak Prescott’s 316 passing yards and a late 99-yard drive, he threw two interceptions, sealing Dallas’s inconsistent performance. The Buccaneers’ defense capitalized on Dallas’s mistakes, pushing Tampa Bay (1-4) towards potential momentum in the NFC South.
