Buccaneers Surge in Third Quarter to Claim First Victory Over Cowboys
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rallied in the second half to defeat the Dallas Cowboys 24-16, marking their first win of the season. Trailing at halftime, the Bucs scored 17 points in the third quarter, with Alex Anzalone sealing the victory by intercepting Dak Prescott. Undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels shone, completing 19 of 25 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys struggled after a strong start, failing to maintain momentum and allowing significant yardage both rushing and passing. This loss highlights ongoing defensive issues for Dallas, while Tampa prepares for their next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
