Ravens Week 2 Defensive Report Card: Dominant Pass Rush, Late Struggles in Secondary
The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Las Vegas Raiders after blowing a double-digit fourth-quarter lead. Despite some impressive performances, especially by outside linebackers Odafe Oweh and Kyle Van Noy, the defense as a whole had mixed results. The defensive line led by Nnamdi Madubuike was strong, while the inside linebackers and cornerbacks struggled at times. The safeties played solidly, but did not make many standout plays. Special teams had mixed results with kicker Justin Tucker excelling on shorter kicks but struggling on longer attempts. Punter Jordan Stout had a costly shank at a crucial moment in the game. Overall, the Ravens have areas to improve on after their loss.
