Ravens Report Card, Week 7: Repeated Second-Half Struggles Lead to Lopsided Defeat
For the second consecutive week, the Ravens allowed no first-half points but lost, this time 35-0 in the second half. Tyler Huntley threw for over 300 yards and a touchdown but faltered late in the game. Derrick Henry struggled to find running room, averaging just 3.9 yards per carry. Although Zay Flowers excelled with eight catches for 137 yards, the overall offense was inconsistent, and tight ends struggled to block. Defensively, the Ravens contained the Bengals’ run game but failed to pressure quarterback Joe Burrow in the second half. Key players, including Marlon Humphrey, were ineffective in coverage, leading to significant yardage gains for Cincinnati.
