Chiefs Face Potential Issue with Harrison Butker: Andy Reid States Kicker Needs to Improve
The Kansas City Chiefs are facing concerns over their kicking game as longtime placekicker Harrison Butker struggles. In their 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Butker missed two out of three field goal attempts. His failure to connect on a 58-yard kick before halftime and a crucial 45-yard attempt later in the game proved costly. This season, Butker has hit only 33.3% of attempts from over 50 yards, leading to 15 missed kicks since last season—the most in the NFL. Head coach Andy Reid emphasized the need for improvement as the Chiefs aim for playoff success, where Butker’s past performance has been strong.
