ESPN Reporter Speculates on Titans Potentially Using Jeffery Simmons Trade to Replace Cam Ward
Questions surrounding quarterback Cam Ward’s future with the Tennessee Titans intensified after they traded All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons for future draft picks. ESPN’s Jordan Reid suggests the Titans may target offensive tackle or defensive line instead, potentially eyeing Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, a top wide receiver prospect. Ward, currently ranked poorly among passers, has struggled with consistency this season. Despite this, Reid indicates the Titans are unlikely to pursue a quarterback in the early rounds of the draft and may instead strengthen other positions. Coach Robert Saleh has emphasized giving Ward time to adapt to the new offensive system.
