Chiefs Make Strong Statement to Harrison Butker with Bold Move Involving Justin Tucker
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is facing criticism for missing five of 16 field goals this season. Despite his struggles, the 5-1 Chiefs haven’t released him but issued a warning ahead of their Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos. The team signed five-time All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad, though Butker remains on the roster. Tucker, released from the Ravens after serious allegations and a suspension, had a subpar season in 2024. Butker, with three Super Bowl rings, missed two field goals in a recent loss, raising concerns about his performance as he leads the NFL in missed kicks.
