Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Identified as Victim in $35 Million Ponzi Scheme
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is among the victims of a Ponzi scheme orchestrated by Siddharth Jawahar, who was sentenced to 11 years in prison for defrauding investors of over $35 million. Jawahar, who ran Swiftarc Capital LLC, pleaded guilty to wire fraud and was ordered to pay $31.35 million in restitution. He misled investors about profits while using funds for personal luxuries. Kelce’s involvement, including when he invested and the amount, remains unclear. He joins other athletes like Gary Harris, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Mason Plumlee linked to the scheme. Kelce recently married Taylor Swift.
