49ers Coach Kyle Shanahan Not Excited About NFL’s Return to Australia: “I’m Not a Fan of Traveling”
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed his fondness for Australia and its NFL fans following their 27-7 victory against the LA Rams, the first NFL game in the country. Although he enjoyed the experience, Shanahan prefers not to travel for games, humorously stating he wants 17 home games in San Francisco. While he understands the NFL’s international expansion goals, he remains hesitant about future trips. Conversely, players like quarterback Brock Purdy and tight end George Kittle appreciated the opportunity and expressed interest in returning, highlighting the positive experiences during their stay in Melbourne.
