Cardinals and Jacoby Brissett Reach Agreement on One-Year Deal Worth $15.5 Million, Reports Say
The Arizona Cardinals have finalized a deal with veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett, increasing his 2026 compensation to $15.5 million guaranteed and up to $21 million with incentives. Despite a significant raise from his $4.88 million base salary for this season, the deal does not extend his contract, making him an unrestricted free agent after 2026. Brissett, who missed part of the offseason seeking a better deal, is set to start after previously backing up Kyler Murray, who has since been released. The Cardinals begin their season against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 13.
