Saints reportedly sign Cade York after working out Justin Tucker following suspension
The New Orleans Saints are making a change at kicker by signing Cade York to their practice squad and releasing Blake Grupe. This decision comes after the team held kicker tryouts following a loss to the Falcons, dropping them to 2-9 this season. Justin Tucker, a former Ravens kicker, was among those competing for the job but York was ultimately chosen. Tucker, who served a suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, faced accusations of inappropriate behavior from 16 massage therapists and struggled in the 2024 season. The Saints are set to face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
