Ravens were called for trade talks prior to roster cutdown; Ravens GM Eric DeCosta rebuffed offers

Ravens GM Eric DeCosta rejects trade offers for Ravens players prior to roster cutdown

The Baltimore Ravens are entering the 2024 NFL season with a strong secondary, boasting six safeties and five cornerbacks. Other teams showed interest in trading for some of their players, but General Manager Eric DeCosta decided to keep the group intact. Injuries to cornerback Arthur Maulet and Trayvon Mullen created openings on the roster, allowing the team to keep more players. Maulet was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, while Mullen was placed on season-ending injured reserve. This gives the Ravens an advantage as they navigate a challenging start to the season with their deep and talented secondary.
