The Las Vegas Raiders will have a quarterback competition between Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew for the starting role in the 2024 NFL season. General manager Tom Telesco confirmed that both quarterbacks will compete during the offseason program and training camp to see who will be the team’s signal-caller. O’Connell had a solid rookie season with 2,218 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, while Minshew had a successful season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2023. Minshew signed a two-year deal with the Raiders in March. The competition will determine who will lead the Raiders in the upcoming season.
