Cousins ‘pretty much full go’ in Falcons’ program

Cousins fully participating in Falcons’ program

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins is recovering well from a torn Achilles tendon that ended his 2023 season with the Minnesota Vikings. He is close to full physical capability during the team’s offseason program, although his snap count is being managed to aid in his rehabilitation. The Falcons drafted Michael Penix Jr. as a possible successor but maintain that Cousins is their quarterback for the present. Cousins leads the league in touchdown passes before his injury. The team is pleased with Cousins’ progress and he is expected to lead the team in the upcoming season. Penix is excited to work with Cousins.
