Reevaluating the Micah Parsons Trade: Who Came Out on Top—Cowboys or Packers?
The Packers’ blockbuster trade for Micah Parsons marked an exciting turn in NFL history, leading to a remarkable game against the Cowboys that ended in a tie. However, Parsons’ ACL injury left him sidelined as both teams faced challenges this season—Dallas struggling at 2-3 after a recent loss, and Green Bay improving to 3-2. The Packers initially thrived with Parsons, but injuries disrupted their success, leading to a poor end last season. Meanwhile, the Cowboys haven’t replaced Parsons’ exceptional talent, and their defense has suffered, raising questions about their future and playoff aspirations. The Jets benefit from the trade’s fallout.
