NFL Scout and Executive Caution Giants’ John Harbaugh About Cam Skattebo
The New York Giants’ hopes for an overtime victory against the Washington Commanders were dashed when running back Cam Skattebo fumbled late in the game, ending in a 27-27 tie. This left the Giants with a record of 3-1-1. NFL analyst Jason La Canfora revealed that scouts believe Skattebo, who has 294 rushing yards and four fumbles this season, is not suited to be a starting running back, suggesting a committee approach instead. A reporter advocated for a shift from a run-heavy strategy to leveraging quarterback Jameis Winston’s passing capabilities in the upcoming game against the Saints.
