Sources: Patriots’ TreVeyon Henderson to Miss Several Weeks Due to High Ankle Sprain
New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is expected to miss several weeks due to a high ankle sprain but will not require surgery. The injury occurred during the second quarter of a game against the Las Vegas Raiders when he was tackled. Henderson, who has rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown this season, previously missed the season opener with another ankle injury. With him out, Corey Kiner stepped in as the backup to Rhamondre Stevenson, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown, while Kiner gained 52 yards but lost a fumble.
