Cowboys Update: Team Strengthens Coaching Staff with Defensive Additions
Mike Pettine has joined as a senior defensive assistant, bringing extensive experience from his roles as defensive coordinator for the Jets, Bills, and Packers. Most recently, he helped the Minnesota Vikings strengthen their defense under Brian Flores. Offensive coordinator Schottenheimer expressed enthusiasm about Pettine’s arrival, noting his past collaboration with cornerbacks coach Christian Parker in Green Bay. This addition aligns with their discussions during Parker’s hiring, enhancing the team’s defensive strategies.
