Sean Payton’s Unexpected Decision on Davis Webb for Broncos vs. Chargers Game
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton initially suggested he wouldn’t take over play-calling from offensive coordinator Davis Webb for the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, reports indicate Payton will indeed assume those duties, likely due to the team’s underwhelming offensive performance, ranking low in scoring and yardage. NFL insider Mike Florio confirmed Payton’s return to play-calling, explaining it allows him to prepare before a pivotal matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos currently sit at 2-2, with expectations as they head into the game against the winless Chargers, who are 0-4.
