Ex-Oregon State RB Anthony Hankerson Ready to Return to College After Seahawks Waiver
The Seattle Seahawks have waived running back Anthony Hankerson, who previously signed with the team last week. He rushed for 10 yards on five carries and caught two passes in a preseason game against Tennessee. Hankerson is among 16 players from the 2022 high school graduating class now eligible for a fifth college season due to a Louisiana court ruling. Once he clears waivers, he may enter the transfer portal. Another running back, T.J. Harden, also waived by the Seahawks, is pursuing a similar path after playing at SMU. Hankerson previously rushed for 1,086 yards at Oregon State.
