Chiefs’ Rashee Rice Faces Jail Time for Probation Violation, Will Miss OTAs and Minicamp

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is in custody for violating probation after testing positive for THC. He will serve 30 days in jail, preventing him from attending the Chiefs’ OTAs and mandatory minicamp. Rice’s probation originated from a multi-car crash in Dallas in March 2024, where he drove at high speeds, causing a collision involving five vehicles. He later turned himself in, facing multiple charges. The NFL suspended him without pay for the first six games of the 2025 season after determining he violated the league’s personal conduct policy. Rice has also faced assault allegations from the mother of his children.
