Buffalo Bills’ First-Round Pick, Maxwell Hairston, Accused of Sexual Assault
Buffalo Bills first-round draft pick Maxwell Hairston is accused in a lawsuit of sexually assaulting a woman at the University of Kentucky in 2021. The lawsuit alleges that Hairston entered the woman’s dorm room uninvited, ignored her refusal of sexual intercourse, forcibly removed her clothing, and assaulted her. The Bills have not commented on the situation, but general manager Brandon Beane previously stated they had fully investigated the allegation and found no wrongdoing. Hairston, a cornerback from Kentucky, was selected by the Bills in the first round of the NFL Draft in April and is vying for a starting position. Training camp for the Bills will begin later this month.
