Robert Saleh Issues Bold Statement on Cam Ward Following Titans’ 0-4 Start
Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh is facing speculation about whether to bench second-year quarterback Cam Ward in favor of backup Mitchell Trubisky as the team struggles with a 0-4 record. Despite calls for a change, Saleh expressed confidence in Ward’s development, stating he’s “gonna be a damn good quarterback.” After a recent 24-18 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, where Ward recorded his best performance of the season with 222 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, Saleh praised his improvement. The Titans will host the winless Houston Texans on October 11, raising questions about Ward’s future performance.
