Veteran cornerback Ronald Darby announces retirement at age 31 after winning Super Bowl with Eagles and national title at Florida State

Ronald Darby, a veteran cornerback in the NFL, has announced his retirement from the Houston Texans after signing a one-year deal in March. This comes after Detroit Lions’ center Frank Ragnow also retired this week citing health concerns. Darby played for six different teams in his 10-season career and was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles team that won Super Bowl LII. He retires with 447 tackles, 106 passes defensed, and eight interceptions in his career. Darby was also a national champion at Florida State in 2013.
