Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy cleared of charges following arrest for alleged family violence
Xavier Worthy was released after charges of felony domestic violence were dropped by a district attorney in Texas. The district attorney stated that after speaking with multiple witnesses, they decided not to pursue charges against Worthy. The case is being declined at this time pending further investigation by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. Worthy’s attorneys stated that the allegation was baseless and the complainant refused to vacate his residence. Worthy did not want to press charges against the complainant. The Kansas City Chiefs were aware of the situation and are still gathering information. Worthy was drafted by the Chiefs in 2024 and had a successful rookie season.
