Cardinals Plan to Bring Back L.J. Collier for Next Season
The Cardinals are re-signing defensive lineman L.J. Collier, a pending free agent for the 2024 season. Collier initially signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals in March of the previous year after completing his rookie contract with the Seahawks. He suffered an injury in Week One and spent the rest of the season on injured reserve. Drafted No. 29 overall in 2019, Collier has appeared in 45 games with 16 starts for Seattle, recording 42 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, and 3.0 sacks. He has also recorded five passes defensed, with his last sack coming in 2020.
