Roger Goodell Announces NFL Review of Jed York’s Arrest Under Personal Conduct Policy
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced that the league is reviewing potential disciplinary action against San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York for violating the personal conduct policy. York was arrested in Ohio during a prostitution sting, where he attempted to pay for sex and was initially charged with engaging in prostitution. Prosecutors later amended the charge to disorderly conduct, to which he pleaded no contest. He received a one-day jail sentence, a $1,150 fine, and completed an online course. Goodell emphasized that they will report any findings once the review is complete.
