Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Stifling Defense Propel Seahawks to Victory Over Chiefs, Handing Them Their First Loss
The Seahawks defeated the Chiefs 20-3, snapping a two-game losing streak. Jaxon Smith-Njigba excelled with 150 receiving yards, while the defense held Kenneth Walker III to just 36 yards, extending their streak of not allowing a 100-yard rusher. Quarterback Sam Darnold had a decent performance, throwing for 257 yards but committing an interception. The Chiefs struggled offensively, failing to reach the red zone, pressured frequently, and missing key players, including top receivers. With this win, the Seahawks improved to 4-3, while the Chiefs fell to 5-1, prompting possible trades to strengthen their wide receiver corps.
