Ravens Week 9 Reflection: Key Priorities Following Jaguars Loss
The Ravens’ disappointing 33-10 loss to the Jaguars dropped their record to 4-5, prompting fans to leave early. With 10 days before facing the Chargers, they need to finalize the trade for Jacoby Brissett as their new starting quarterback. Offensive improvements are essential, while the looming trade deadline raises questions about the team’s direction, especially concerning Lamar Jackson’s contract and roster adjustments. Immediate actions include completing the Brissett trade without overpaying and considering offseason roster changes. Players on expiring deals, like Trenton Simpson, could be traded for compensatory picks, but success depends on strategic offseason moves and free agency spending.
