Giants’ John Harbaugh Shares Insight on J.J. McCarthy’s Decision: ‘Impressive Skill Set’
New York Giants coach John Harbaugh announced J.J. McCarthy as the starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Texans, following his promising performance in the fourth quarter last week. McCarthy replaces Jameis Winston, who recorded 957 yards and seven touchdowns but struggled this season. The decision aims to inject new energy into the team, especially with Jaxson Dart out for the season. Harbaugh praised McCarthy’s quick adaptation to the offense, noting his skill set as an asset. McCarthy expressed excitement about becoming the starter and emphasized his commitment to improving and preparing for the matchup.
