Packers RB Josh Jacobs Cleared from Commissioner Exempt List, Eligible to Play in Week 7
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will be removed from the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt list on Monday, allowing him to play in Week 7. He was placed on the list following misdemeanor charges of battery and damage to property from a May incident. Jacobs pleaded no contest on September 10, resulting in a $1,000 fine and an agreement that could dismiss the property damage charge after 12 months. He’s missed all five of Green Bay’s games, with the team at 3-2. Jacobs is set to return on October 25 against the Detroit Lions after signing a four-year, $48 million contract.
