Bears QB Williams out for MNF; backup Bagent back at practice

Bears QB Williams Ruled Out for MNF; Backup Bagent Returns to Practice

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a right hamstring injury sustained in Week 2. He’s considered week-to-week. Backup Tyson Bagent, currently in concussion protocol, practiced fully and is listed as questionable. Third-string quarterback Case Keenum participated in all practices and could start his first game since December 2024. Coach Ben Johnson expressed confidence in the team’s quarterback options. On a positive note, kicker Cairo Santos practiced fully after a hip injury and has no limitations, while left tackle Ozzy Trapilo, now healthy, will not play.
