New York Jets’ Qwan’tez Stiggers Hospitalized After Collapsing at Practice
New York Jets cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers collapsed and briefly lost consciousness during a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was taken by ambulance for further examination, but coach Aaron Glenn reported that Stiggers was conscious and talking on the field before being stretchered off. Teammates formed a prayer circle in response to the incident. Stiggers, entering his third season with the Jets, has been a standout player despite his unconventional path from the CFL. Glenn emphasized the medical staff’s prompt response, and practice resumed after a brief stoppage. Stiggers is currently reported to be recovering well.
