Tony Romo Suspended by CBS Sports After Arrest
CBS Sports has put NFL analyst Tony Romo on leave following his arrest for suspected DUI on July 23. During a traffic stop in Milwaukee, Romo was cited for passing cars in a gore area and failing field sobriety tests. He had an open alcohol container in his vehicle and refused a sobriety test after his arrest. Romo has been CBS’ lead NFL analyst since 2017 and is a former Dallas Cowboys quarterback. In his absence, J.J. Watt will serve as the lead analyst. Romo’s court appearance is set for September 21.
