49ers LB Dre Greenlaw Clarifies His Confrontation with Broncos HC Sean Payton
After the San Francisco 49ers’ 24-14 victory over the Denver Broncos, linebacker Dre Greenlaw confronted former coach Sean Payton, saying, “Hey! You get the f— off my field!” Greenlaw, released by the Broncos in March, criticized Payton for not personally informing him about his release, claiming it was his agent who delivered the news. He noted that Payton had ignored him during the season, which he attributed to Greenlaw’s injuries. Previously, Greenlaw had signed with the Broncos but faced injuries and missed games. He later rejoined the 49ers, signing a one-year contract and performing well this season.
