Cowboys WR Parris Campbell Announces Retirement

Parris Campbell, a former second-round pick by the Colts, has retired at 28 after struggling with injuries throughout his career. He briefly signed a futures deal with the Cowboys but only played two snaps in a game last season. Campbell faced multiple injuries since his rookie year, limiting his appearances significantly. He did have a full season in 2023 with the Colts, where he played in all 17 games, producing 623 yards and three touchdowns. Following a lack of offers, he played a reserve role for the Giants and was on the Eagles’ practice squad before retiring. The Cowboys are now focusing on other veteran receivers for training camp.
