Lions Ink All-Pro LB Jack Campbell to Four-Year Extension
The Detroit Lions have signed linebacker Jack Campbell to a four-year contract extension, securing his position through the 2030 season. This agreement follows the Lions’ decision to decline his fifth-year option for 2027, which would have been worth nearly $21.93 million. Campbell, who was drafted 18th overall in 2023 from Iowa, had a standout 2025 season, earning first-team AP All-Pro honors and his first Pro Bowl selection with 176 total tackles. The Lions are also focused on extensions for other key players from the 2023 draft, including running back Jahmyr Gibbs and tight end Sam LaPorta.
