How Did We Reach This Point? Giants and Eagles Prepare for Thrilling QB Clash
In a surprising move, the Philadelphia Eagles will start Joe Milton III at quarterback in Week 9, replacing Tanner McKee as they face the 4-2-1 New York Giants. The Eagles (2-6) aim to end a six-game losing streak. Milton, previously signed from the Dallas practice squad, has demonstrated potential with an impressive completion rate of 69.8% and a strong arm. Conversely, J.J. McCarthy, who joined the Giants via trade, has shown promise in his debut, completing 71.4% of his passes. Both quarterbacks are stepping into complex offensive schemes during critical matchups for their struggling teams.
