Ravens Welcome Heisman Finalist QB Diego Pavia to Rookie Minicamp
Diego Pavia, the 2025 Heisman runner-up, went undrafted due to concerns about his 5-foot-10 size and arm strength. However, he received an invite to the Baltimore Ravens’ rookie minicamp. Last season at Vanderbilt, he was productive with 271.5 passing yards and 66.3 rushing yards per game, earning accolades such as the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. While Pavia’s playmaking skills impress, his style, reliant on RPOs, may struggle in the NFL’s complex schemes. The Ravens need a third quarterback, currently having only Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, and also invited cornerback Kolbey Taylor from Vanderbilt.
