Tiki Barber Reveals Multiple Reasons Behind Giants’ Cam Skattebo’s Demotion
After the New York Giants’ 34-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints, running back Cam Skattebo revealed he had no touches due to being “punished” for a costly fumble against the Washington Commanders. Analyst Tiki Barber suggested Skattebo’s decreased role involved more than just that mistake, noting he had contributed to numerous “negative plays” this season, including misreading the run game. With Skattebo sidelined, backup quarterback J.J. McCarthy led the team in rushing against New Orleans. Despite the defeat, the Giants are currently leading the NFC East and are set to face the Houston Texans as 9.5-point underdogs.
