Skip Peete continues to be in stable condition and is doing well following medical episode

Buccaneers running backs coach Skip Peete had a positive update after experiencing a medical episode during a practice. He remained stable and spent the night at a local hospital for observation but is reported to be doing well. Peete, 62, has been with the Buccaneers since 2023 and has previously worked with other NFL teams as a running backs coach. He is the brother of former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete. The organization released a statement saying Peete was responsive and coherent before being taken offsite for further evaluation.
