Chiefs’ Rice receives a six-game suspension from NFL for causing crash that resulted in multiple injuries
Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice has accepted a six-game NFL ban for his involvement in a high-speed crash in which multiple people were injured. He pled guilty to felony charges and was sentenced to jail time and required to pay medical costs. The incident occurred in March 2024 in Dallas, where Rice was driving a Lamborghini Urus SUV at 119 mph and struck other vehicles. He apologized for the harm caused and will miss several key games due to the suspension. Rice will be eligible to return to the field in October. He was drafted by the Chiefs in 2023 and won a Super Bowl in his first season with the team.
