Sources: Diggs and Patriots reach agreement on three-year, $69 million contract
Stefon Diggs, a 4-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, signed a three-year, $69 million deal with the New England Patriots, with $26 million guaranteed. He suffered a season-ending ACL injury last year but is expected to return for the upcoming season. The Patriots, who initially pursued Chris Godwin, turned to Diggs to pair with quarterback Drake Maye. Diggs joins a receiving corps that includes Mack Hollins, Kendrick Bourne, and others. He previously played for the Buffalo Bills and set several team and league records. In his career, Diggs has 857 receptions, 10,491 yards, and 71 touchdowns.
