Jimmy Johnson retires after three decades as Fox NFL analyst, calling it the “Most fun I ever had”
Fox Sports analyst Jimmy Johnson, 81, retired from his role on “Fox NFL Sunday” after more than three decades. Johnson made the announcement on “The Herd With Colin Cowherd”, expressing his enjoyment with the network and his colleagues. Starting as a defensive lineman at the University of Arkansas, Johnson went on to coach college football and the Dallas Cowboys, winning two Super Bowls. He joined “Fox NFL Sunday” in 1994 and became a beloved member of the team. Fellow analyst Michael Strahan congratulated Johnson on his retirement and thanked him for their friendship. Fox Sports CEO Eric Shanks recognized Johnson’s impact on football fans and the network.
