The Cowboys’ training group faces severe criticism
The Dallas Cowboys received good grades in several areas in the latest NFLPA Team Report Cards, ranking 10th overall in the league. They excelled in treatment of families and the locker room, but had poor grades in the training room and training staff departments. Players felt they did not have enough trainers and physical therapists, and the training room lacked certain modalities found in other NFL teams. Despite the high marks for now-former head coach Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys did not bring him back for the next season. It is important for the team to address their training situation to give the new head coach the best chance of success.
