Mike Tomlin believes the Steelers do not have a George Pickens issue
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is not concerned about the perceived distraction caused by wide receiver George Pickens, despite Pickens’ public displays of dissatisfaction. Pickens played a limited number of snaps in the team’s recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys and showed frustration throughout the game. Tomlin believes the decision to manage Pickens’ playing time was necessary for his development as a player. The Steelers need Pickens on the field for offensive balance, as production from other receivers has been minimal. Quarterback Justin Fields had a shaky performance against Dallas, but is expected to start in the upcoming game against Las Vegas. Tomlin is focused on moving forward with Fields as the starting quarterback until further notice.
