Steelers OL Troy Fautanu reportedly out indefinitely after injuring knee in practice

Steelers Offensive Lineman Troy Fautanu Suffers Knee Injury in Practice, Out Indefinitely

Troy Fautanu, rookie right tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will miss Sunday’s game due to a knee injury. Initially listed as questionable, he was downgraded to out indefinitely on Saturday. Fautanu’s absence means Broderick Jones will return to a starting role. Jones was benched in the previous game for Fautanu but struggled with penalties. Coach Mike Tomlin had expressed confidence in Jones earlier in the week. Fautanu, the 20th overall pick in the draft, had impressed in practice before his injury. The Steelers will face the Los Angeles Chargers, both teams with a 2-0 record.
